An acoustic FLAMETAL performance at a guitar company's booth. I love these
guys! |
Bernard Purdy. He is THE original funk drummer, with credits including Aretha
Franklin (Respect) and countless others. We recently played together on
a rock guitarists album. |
Billy Sheehan, Ray Luzier, and Toshi rockin hard at the Coast Anahiem Hotel.
|
Another on of Billy's amazing solos. |
Skinny Bass Players. |
My boy Joe got us up to the front. He's the best drummer with no legs ever!
Shoot- he's even better than that! Great Guy. |
Ray Luzier- David Lee Roths drummer. Amazing player. |
Future Man Roy Wooten chillin after the gig. |
Our Friends Sierra and Ash havin a couple dranks. |
Bass Ackwards? This thing actuallyy plays decent! |
I feel like I need a T-shirt that says "I played the 9 string!"
Bee Basses. |
Hangin' with Chuck Rainey after a bass duet at the Phil Jones Bass Speaker
Booth. |
Perfoming at the Nady booth with an Ozzy tribute band, led by Brad Gillis
(Night Ranger) and my crazy drumming friend Atma Anur. |
Brad Gillis and I tearing it up (with the WORST sound ever on a gig) |
More rockin at the Nady booth |
Perhaps the biggest highlight for me this weekend was the 20-min. bass duet
at the Epifani/Fodera booth with yours truly and 22yr. old Felix Pastorious
(Jaco's son). Amazing! |
Crazy Atma again, with Peter and I. |
One of the nicest, down to earth guys I've met- JD from Warrior instruments.
He's making me 2 custom basses- a 4 and a 5, so look out in the next couple
months! |
Showing Felix the Warrior stuff. |
Carzy Atma, myself and Ben Woods. Ben is an amazing flamenco player and
fuses Flamenco with metal to form... FLAMETAL (dot com)! |
I've been shopping for a more portable rig. Wuddya think? |
Thomas, drummer for Flametal sizes up the Crate Stack. (Each of these 3
pieces goes for $10,000!) |
Me with Dave from Tone Tubby, My favorite speaker company! |
Someone knows how to ROCK! |
These guys know how to rock too! Ira Black and Mark Z., 2 of my favorite
guitarists! |
Another excellent bassist. I couldn't help but op in for a duet-bass-slap-a-thon!
|
Dean guitars Dimebag Darryl Memorial. RIP brotha. (Ben and I listened to
Pantera the whole way back!) |
The (intimidating) Fodera booth, with Mike Pope and Felix Pastorious. |
