Donovan launched 2010 with a brand-new 'innovative' event going back to his "all about the music" roots, showcasing his musical talents as a DJ and performer, and producing a "one-of-a-kind" live show of musical entertainment you rarely get to experience in a nightclub.

16, 2010, The "DONOVAN LIVE" Show at Vessel Nightclub in
San Francisco set an all new unprecedented standard in nightlife
entertainment by combining DJ dance music with live musicians to create
a "one-of-a-kind" music show that even had ten year industry
veterans with jaws on the floor. "DONOVAN LIVE" is the next generation sound & nightclub
experience of a new decade where "ELECTRO MEETS LIVE MUSIC".
DONOVAN LIVE featured San Francisco's famous DJ DONOVAN behind
the decks orchestrating some of San Francisco's most famous live
music talent: electric guitarist J Bowman, electric violinist Dave
Kim, keyboardist Dmitry Panich, and percussionist Tony Blue.
As the music videos below will illustrate, the crowd & dancefloor at Vessel were in constant uproar of screams, shouts, hands up in the air, fist-pumping, dancing on tables, and singing along to the words all night as DJ Donovan & his entourage of amazing live musicians tour the place apart. People described the evening as "insane", "nuts", "amazing", "unbelievable", "magical", "ridiculous", and simply "WOW".

On Saturday, April 10th, Vessel proudly welcome back the "SPRING 2010 JAM SESSION" for DONOVAN LIVE #2 starring world-famous rock band WHITESNAKE & LYRICS BORN bass player URIAH DUFFY, leading underground house promoter REMEDY'S 18 piece percussionist XAVIER, CLUB VESSEL's famous resident DJ GORDON WAZE of DJ HELICOPTER remixing vocal accapellas live, along with the exciting return of our two musical stars of DONOVAN LIVE #1: Dave Kim on electric violin & J Bowman on electric guitar.

Not many musicians boast a range which encompasses everything from hard rock to hard funk and everything in-between: hip-hop, pop/R&B, gospel, soul/disco, neo-soul, indie rock, jazz-rock, blues/folk, reggae, house -- even a flamenco/metal hybrid.
